Third and fourth episodes of Broadchurch Season Three are broadcast in Germany tonight

The third and fourth episodes of Broadchurch Season Three have their German premiere tonight on the pay station 13th Street.

The episodes will be shown at 8.15pm and 9.05pm respectively. These episodes premiered in the UK on ITV on Monday 13th March and Monday 20th March.

This is the final ever season of Broadchurch and again stars David Tennant as DI Alec Hardy and Olivia Colman as DS Ellie Miller.

The original season of Broadchurch won a BAFTA  and was ITV's highest rated drama in 2013. 

The original season of Broadchurch was broadcast in March 2013 and explored what happened to a small community when if suddenly became the focus of a tragic event, the murder of  an eleven-year-old boy.

The second season of Broadchurch was broadcast in early 2015 and it looked at the trial of the alleged killer of Danny Latimer and Hardy's previous unsolved case - Sandbrook.

Filming on the third and final season of Broadchurch started on Monday 23rd May 2016 and continued until October that year.

Actors who are also in the cast from the original season include Andrew Buchan (Mark Latimer). Jodie Whittaker (Beth Latimer), Arthur Darvill (Rev. Paul Coates) and Carolyn Pickles (Maggie Radcliffe). Sir Lenny Henry, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Georgina Campbell, Sarah Parish, Charlie Higson and Mark Bazeley are new cast members with significant roles.

The third season is set up three years after the events in Season Two and it consists of a brand new case for Hardy and Miller with the detectives teaming up to investigate a serious sexual assault.

Broadchurch is written by Chris Chibnall.
