ITV3 are showing an episode each evening at 10pm. It will also be shown at the same time on ITV3 HD and an hour later on ITV3 + 1.
In the 5 years that we have been tweeting David Tennant's television appearances each morning, this is the first time that we can recall Secret Smile being re-broadcast.
Secret Smile is based on the book by Nicci French and is about Miranda Cotton (Kate Ashfield) who starts a relationship with Brendan Block (David Tennant). She soon finds him reading her diary and trying to take over his flat so she ends the relationship.
Brendan does not take rejection well so he starts to date Miranda's sister (Clare Goose) and then tries to prove Miranda is still in love with him.
David Tennant said of his character "Brendan is a dangerous, complicated character. It was a fantastic challenge to play such a sinister and compelling part. I loved indulging my dark side for a while!"
Secret Smile was originally broadcast on ITV in December 2005 which was after David was announced as the Tenth Doctor but before his first episode was broadcast.
