Last night Krysten Ritter tweeted that the whole Jessica Jones cast would attend the Comic Con panel.
The panel is scheduled for 5pm to 6.45pm and will be moderated by Marvel’s Head of Television and series executive producer Jeph Loeb. Fans attending will also have a first look at the new Netflix original series which will be available on Friday 20th November.
In the Jessica Jones series David Tennant plays the main villain Zebediah Killgrave (who is also known as The Purple Man).
The official series description is 'After a tragic ending to her short-lived super hero stint, Jessica Jones is rebuilding her personal life and career as a detective who gets pulled into cases involving people with extraordinary abilities in New York City. An enigmatic figure from Jessica’s past, Kilgrave’s reappearance will send shockwaves through the former super hero’s world.'
In the Marvel comics Kilgrave can produce pheromones which give him the power to control people’s minds as long as he’s physically nearby. He also can recover from severe injuries very quickly and is, quite literally, purple. However it has not been announced yet how closely Marvel’s series will stick to the comic version of the character.
Jessica Jones is played by Krysten Ritter and Mike Coulter plays the character Luke Cage. The series was filmed in New York earlier this year.
