As we tweeted earlier the television documentary which David Tennant is hosting about Shakespeare's play Hamlet is now called Shakespeare Uncovered.
Originally the programme was announced in November 2011 with the title Prefaces To Shakespeare but the American trailer used the title Shakespeare Prefaces.
Today it was announced that the six part series would start broadcasting on Tuesday 19th June at 9pm on BBC Four. The first episode is Joely Richardson on Shakespeare's Women and it will be repeated that same evening at 2.50am on BBC Four and on Wednesday 20th at 11pm on BBC HD and finally on Thursday 21st June at 10.30pm.
The second episode is Ethan Hawke's episode on Macbeth which follows the same pattern of broadcasts.
David Tennant's episode is expected to be the fourth episode in the series so if BBC Four keep to the same schedule David's episode will premiere on Tuesday 10th July at 9pm on BBC Four.
According to Amazon.co.uk the DVD will be released in the UK on 27th August but they still list the title as Prefaces to Shakespeare.
The description for David's episode is "In Hamlet, David Tennant whose own RSC performance was a huge hit, meets other actors who have played the role – from the legendary David Warner in the 1960s to the recent Jude Law. He also tries, alongside Simon Russell Beale and Ben Whishaw to unravel the meaning of the play and the reason why it is considered the greatest play Shakespeare ever wrote."
