David Tennant nominated for Best Actor in an Audio Drama Award at BBC Audio Drama Awards

David Tennant has been nominated for the Best Actor in an Audio Drama Award at the first ever BBC Audio Drama Awards.

David was nominated for Kafka: The Musical by Murray Gold.

The other nominees are Damian Lewis for Giovanni’s Room and Rory Kinnear for Flare Path, plus there is a Special Commendation of Tom Riley for Henry’s Demons.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Sunday 29th January 2012 in the Radio Theatre at BBC Broadcasting House, London which David Tennant will be presenting.

The BBC Audio Drama Awards cover audio dramas first broadcast in English in the UK between 1st October 2010 and 30th September 2011 or those which were first uploaded or published for free listening online in the UK during the same period. Entries were welcome from all makers of audio drama, and were not restricted to BBC broadcasts.
