David Tennant reads Bewitched on Book At Bedtime tonight

Tonight at 10.45pm David Tennant reads the Book At Bedtime on BBC Radio Four.

The story was written by Edith Wharton and it is part of the A Night With A Vampire 2 series. (David Tennant read the first series in 2010. The story is described as a "retake on the Sleeping Beauty story which first appeared in Carter's 1979 volume The Bloody Chamber." It is part of the A Night With A Vampire 2 series. David Tennant co-hosting the Children In Need concert tonight


Tonight David Tennant co-hosts the Children In Need concert from the Manchester Evening News Arena. The other co-hosts are the DJs Chris Moyles and Fearne Cotton.

The Children in Need Rocks Manchester concert has been organised by Take That’s Gary Barlow and features a long list of artists including Lady Gaga, Coldplay, Ed Sheeran, JLS, Elbow, N Dubz, Hugh Laurie, Snow Patrol and Michael Buble. As well as playing their hits there will be a number of special collaborations between different artists.

The concert starts at 7pm (with doors opening at 5.30pm) and part of the concert is being broadcast on both BBC One and BBC HD between 8pm and 10pm tonight with highlights being shown late tomorrow evening during the Children In Need night on BBC One.

This afternoon at 2pm BBC Radio Five Live will be backstage as David Tennant, among others, rehearses for the Children In Need concert.
