David Tennant on Twenty Twelve on BBC Four

David Tennant has provided the voice over for a new six part comedy mock documentary series shortly to start on BBC Four. Twenty Twelve stars Hugh Bonneville, Jessica Hynes, Amelia Bullmore, Olivia Colman, Vincent Franklin and Karl Theobald and is about the people paddling hard beneath the water to make the Olympics happen in London in 2012.

Twenty Twelve is written and directed by John Morton, produced by Paul Schlesinger and the executive producer is Jon Plowman, the same team responsible for People Like Us in which David Tennant starred in the episode entitled The Actor.

The voice over was recorded in two sessions at studios in Alberquque last year whilst David Tennant was filming Fright Night. Not that you would ever know director and performer were nearly 5000 miles apart at the time of the recording or that at one point director, John Morton had to direct down an ordinary phone line. Delivered in David's native Scottish accent the voice over is at all times perfectly pitched very subtly sending up the more traditional documentary voice over.

The series website at here goes live next week, but you will have to wait until the series starts to hear David as none of the trails or clips currently destined for the website contain any voice over.

Receiving tickets for David Tennant and Catherine Tate in Much Ado About Nothing

Lots of fans have contacted us either via Twitter or email regarding their concern at not having yet received their tickets to see David Tennant and Catherine Tate in Much Ado About Nothing.

Those who booked directly with the theatre received an email confirmation which said that tickets would be mailed within 5 days of the date of purchase. Once Delfont Macintosh realised how popular the play was, they changed their policy so that tickets will now be mailed a few weeks before the individual performances.

However, the theatre have told us that if you are able to visit the theatre, then they will print your tickets for you there, although they request that you do not go just before another performance is about to start at the theatre as the box office will be busy at that time.

People who have bought tickets via some ticket agencies have already received their tickets.

Much Ado About Nothing appears to be selling very well as all the performances from the start of the run until Saturday 4th June and various Friday and Saturdays during the run, only have limited tickets available.

A fan forum has been set up for people wanting to buy or sell tickets from fans (and not at inflated eBay prices).
